Do Not Get Subcontracted out by brokers. If you look on line and see the same company in multiple cities most likely they are a broker. A lot of these when there is a problem they play the blame game on the company they subcontracted you to and the actual moving company that moved blames the broker.



Since you do not no the actual moving companies name you can not sue them and since the brokers D.B.A is in another city it makes it hard for you to sue them. Usually the have multiple names and D.B.A's and do not keep much money in the bank account for each "company" so if you sue them they close that company. Most of the time these companies are owned by a foreigner that have it as a corporation so there is no one to be held accountable.
